Well, the mid-year break happened, I attended more meetings, and I am finally getting back to review my notes and bring you up to date on those activities where I represent you. Please read my other blog posts for those updates.
The Fall ratification had a quorum of members, so we proceeded to vote. All items that were passed unanimously through the appropriate committee, we unanimously approved also. Proposals at the committee level that indicated questions or a desire to permit additional discussion for the General Membership were discussed, with clarifications voiced or noted.
It bodes well for this institution that faculty are responsive and willing to support changes to the academic offerings—be it add, modify, or delete. Our review and support of course or program changes is important, as we must then implement the changes in the classroom.
